Hi, I'm Jackie!
I believe photography is more than just beautiful images — it’s memory keeping. It’s legacy. It’s a way of preserving the fleeting moments we never want to forget.
I’m a wedding, engagement, family, newborn, lifestyle, portrait, photographer
My love for photography runs deep.
It started with my grandfather, a passionate nature and underwater photographer who built his own underwater casings and developed his images in a dark room he built in his basement. Some of his work was even published in Ontario magazines. I still look through the thousands of slides he left behind — every frame a reminder of how powerful a photograph can be.
When I was 12, my late father gave me my first Leica camera for Christmas — a gift that changed everything. From then on, I became the designated family photographer, capturing birthday parties, holidays, and everyday magic. That passion only grew. I started taking on any shoot I could, and I’ve been photographing professionally since 2012.
Over the years, having experienced the deep loss of people I love, my connection to photography has only strengthened. I understand how meaningful it is to have something tangible — something real — to hold onto. That’s why I do what I do.

I still shoot film for fun.
There’s something so nostalgic and grounding about the process — it reminds me of my grandfather’s dark room.

Fact 2
I have two sphynx cats named Wilfred and Opal.
I’m allergic to cat fur — but that didn’t stop me. They’re weird, wonderful, and cuddle me while I edit.

I’m a mom to the sweetest little boy. Motherhood has deepened my love for capturing the small, fleeting moments — because I know how fast they pass.
